This practice consists of the injection or infusions of liquid (usually a commercial saline solution) to enlarge the size of body parts, in particular the pouch of skin that contains the testes (scrotum). This commercial saline solution is sterile 0.9% salt water. After injection, the solution is reabsorbed by the body in a few days. However the scrotum can remain enlarged for longer periods.
Before injection, the saline solution should be warmed a bit above body temperature. The simplest and most reliable way to check the temperature is to test the heat of the solution on your wrist; if it is too hot there, then it is too hot for the scrotum.
Before you start and to help the scrotum stretch easily, take a hot shower to warm it up. It is also recommended to use an adjustable cock ring, which should be gradually loosened once the skin starts to stretch. Use latex or non-latex gloves while performing saline injections on someone else or doing aftercare. Clean the skin first with alcohol and sterilise with an antiseptic wipe. If there is blood present during or after injection, wipe clean with alcohol and antiseptic. Any wipes or cotton used in this practice should be put in a plastic bag, tied and discarded. Don’t wear a metal cockring or anything you can’t get off in a hurry, tie cock and balls off with a piece of soft rope or and adjustable cockring which keeps saline
flowing into the balls sack and not up higher.
Any sharp instruments, such as needles, should never be reused and disposed of in sharps bins. For information about obtaining sharps bins check Needle Syringe Program on our kink business page.
Do not share injecting equipment. HIV, Hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections can be easily passed on this way.
