CLEAN UP YOUR ACT

Toys are a great way to fire up a good fuck session. Keeping your gear in check so it’s ready and raring to go is important to keeping your session hot and safe.

Any toy not properly cleaned and then shared with other people has the potential to transmit blood-borne viruses and sexually transmitted infections (STIs including Hepatitis C). Wash each toy thoroughly with hot water and anti-bacterial soap, you can also use medical grade sterilisers such as Milton. Using a condom over a toy makes for easier cleaning, but be mindful not to use oil-based lube if using a latex condom. 

Water based lube is the easiest to remove, when using silicone or even oil based lube extra care is necessary to remove both traces of shit and the lube itself as this can increase risk of infection. For extra slick but a speedier tidy up – you can try a hybrid lube which is water based but contains silicone. 

In addition, if the cleaning agent is not properly removed from toys, it may irritate the sensitive lining of the arse, making it easier for getting or passing on HIV or other sexually transmitted infections.

LUBE IT UP

Lube is a great way to keep your fuck session safe and pleasurable. What lube you use will depend on your preference, what you’re up to, and who you’re playing with.

• Oil-based lubes (except coconut oil) should be kept away from a vagina/front-hole as they can harbor bacteria.
• If you’re fucking in or around the water – water-based lube might wear off too quickly
• Keep silicone lube and toys separate as they degrade one another.

When it comes to inserting things up your arse, start small and work your way up to bigger toys don’t force toys too hard try and relax, give your butt time to open up. Don’t push objects too far up your arse or they could disappear inside. If this happens, relax! Stressing will make your muscles contract and you will tighten up, risking moving the toy even further in. To facilitate the passage of the object, get lots of lube up your arse and try pushing as if you were having a dump while squatting. You can also try laying in a bath filled with warm water as this could help the muscles relax, allowing the object to pass back out again. If nothing works, visit the accident and emergency department at your nearest hospital. It wouldn’t be the first, nor the last time that the medical staff there would have come across a situation like this.

A small amount of pink blood isn’t usually too much to worry about, if the blood is red or dark in colour and it’s dripping rather than just colouring the lube, stop straight away and seek medical attention.
